This project involved the strategic migration from SAP ECC6.0 to the modern, cloud-based S/4HANA platform—a bold move that reflects MPA’s unwavering commitment to innovation, agility, and operational excellence. Though steeped in history, Mormugao Port has always stayed ahead of the curve when it comes to technology adoption, and this transition further cements its position as a leader in port digitization.

The new platform equips MPA with intelligent process automation, real-time data visibility, and a future-ready digital core—laying the foundation for smarter, faster, and more connected port operations.

The go-live event was graced by the distinguished presence of Dr Vinodkumar Nair, IPoS – Chairman, Vinayaka Rao – Deputy Chairman, Anant V.P. Chodnekar – FA & CAO, and Navisha Miranda – Assistant Director (IT), whose leadership and vision played a vital role in making this transformation a reality.
