Goa Electricity Department (GED) Embarks on Its SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Journey with Highbar.
We are delighted to announce the successful Kick-Off Ceremony of the Rise with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation at the Goa Electricity Department (GED) with Highbar Technocrat | SAP Gold Partner as the implementation partner.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Electrical Engineer (CEE) Stephen Fernandes, who emphasised the importance of building a robust system and highlighted GED’s continued commitment to technological advancement. The event was also attended by Mayur Hede (Superintending Engineer SE), Anita Gaikwad (Project Lead), and all GED HODs, showcasing their collective vision for the future.
From SAP, Manish Bhondwe – Account Director – Public Services & Utilities at SAP marked his presence, while from Highbar, Joydeep Banerjee, Anil Jeur, Ravi Shenai, Yogesh, Raj Patel, Habel Jacob and the team came together to kick off this milestone.
With this transformation, GED is moving from the legacy ECC to the next-generation RISE with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, strengthening efficiency, transparency, and scalability in its operations.
This marks a significant step in GED’s major digital transformation journey, setting a benchmark for innovation in the power sector for the entire nation.
